Head Coach Heather Whitehead is a 2009 graduate of Shippensburg University where she majored in Art Education. She is a 2005 graduate of Henderson High School where she swam for the high school swim team for all four years, serving as Co-Captain her senior year. Heather is in her first year of teaching at Stetson Middle School. She has been involved in the Southern Chester County Swim league for 18 years, as both a swimmer and a coach. Heather has worked as a coach with Diane for 6 years with the West End and Waterview Swim Teams and has taught swimming for the past six years for the West Chester University swim program. This past year, Heather also had the opportunity to coach the mini, pre-developmental and developmental teams through GRA (Golden Rams Aquatics). This year also served as her first year as an assistant coach at Henderson High School. Heather’s coaching philosophy for summer swimming sets the tone for the entire coaching staff. Coach Diane Heiland is a 1997 graduate of West Chester University where she majored in marketing and swam on the WCU Swim Team for 4 years. She earned her teaching certification in 2002. She is currently a graduate student in Health Education at WCU. Diane attended Cumberland Valley HS, in Mechanicsburg, PA. Diane is in her 6th year teaching Physical Education at Rose Tree Elementary School. She worked with the West End Swim Team in the Southern Chester County League from 2004 through 2006. She has coached the Waterview Swim Team since 2007. She also coached the GRA swim team and WCU swim team from 1997-2001. She lives with her husband, Seth and daughter, Samantha, in West Goshen Township.

Coach Kat Shinoda graduated from Drexel University majoring in Sport Management and swam on their Division 1 swim team. She graduated from The Westtown School where she swam for four years. Kat has coached at the Westtown Aquatics from 2005 to 2008 and coached at the Wedgewood Swim Club from 2007 to 2008.

Coach Matt Jenkins just completed his sophmore year at Widener University where he swam for the collegiate swim team. He swam for four years with for Downingtown HS. Matt swam in the Southern Chester County Swim League for 10 years, the last two years with Waterview.

Coach Brian Kelly just completed his sophmore year at the Penn State University where he swam competitively with their club team. He swam for four years with the W.C. Henderson and W.C. Rustin swim teams. Brian swam in the Southern Chester County Swim League for 11 years, the last two years with Waterview.

Coach Jackie Vincent just completed her freshman year at University of North Carolina where she swam competitively with their club team. She swam for four years with WC East HS and 12 years with Waterview.
